Medical Devices and Continuing Medical Education

Most Continuing Medical Education programs focus on pharmaceutical methods and treatments designed to extend and improve patient quality of life. Increasingly, Continuing Medical Education programs for medical devices are being developed in order to more fully educate end-users on the specifications and benefits of these devices.

When developing medical device CME programs, it is important to recognize that pharmaceutical CME and medical device CME are not the same things. In order for an educational medical device program to be successful, a customized, collaborative approach to CME development is crucial.

The MW Institute has worked with medical device organizations and has first-hand knowledge of the challenges involved with the development of CME programs specifically designed for medical devices. From start to finish, we have the experience and resources necessary to facilitate and execute medical device CME programs that are of value to the targeted audience and meet the sponsor's educational goals.
